My City – Shiny Rabbit

Shiny Rabbit is another stall I stumbled across at the Made on the Left designer market.

This is Cynthia and her rabbit. Adam Fiannaca (getting coffee at the time) and Cynthia Verspaget are the proud owners of Shiny Rabbit which sell handmade jewellery, wearables and homewares. Their collections are made from a variety of materials such as cast resin, wood and foam. I would categorise their style as retro and grunge rock. Here, Cynthia is modelling one of her wire choker necklaces with a flower motif pendant. Judge for the collection for yourself.

This is the earring collection. I like the key and heart one. The rose necklace on the right is actually made of 2 differently laser cut pieces glued together. And staying true to their style, even the frame matches! I also like the baby robin blue background.

The collection of retro brooches that come with their own cool tin. The POW! ones would definitely be a stand out on any outfit.

This is a set of dense foam coasters that I bought for a friend’s housewarming gift. How cool and nerdy are they?! I don’t know about the practicality of these but these were the best out of the collection. The other ones are circular in shape and feature different motifs in the circular frame.

My lust-after list from their Etsy site.

Deer In The Headlights foam coasters (available in other designs and colours)
Chic A Dee Coaster and Trivet set
Jack Rabbit Necklace (made from wood and arcylic)

Check out the range of Shiny Rabbit’s products on their new website or follow their blog for any upcoming events they may be showcasing at. Their products are stock at various boutiques around Perth.

Thanks Cynthia for the chat and photos.
