[quickie] Open House Perth 2013

Just a quick reminder the Open House Perth Program is on again this weekend, 2nd and 3rd Nov.

The purpose of this program is to showcase the great architecture and designs that makes Perth the small but unique city it is.

There are many ways to get involved.

1. Look through the suggested itineraries; be it a family fun day or getting to know the other side of Northbridge, or put on your walking shoes and explore all the destinations.
2. Take a photo and enter the photo competitions with Open House Perth’s unique Instagram hashtags.
3. Volunteer as a city guide or at an information point. Help others enjoy their Open House Perth experience.
4. Buy a program booklet for $5 from participating outlets and support Open House Perth.

I went last year and it was great to learn about the ideas behind the designs for some of the contemporary buildings, and how the architects and designers interpreted and embraced green design. In simple terms, it was nerdy and I liked it a lot.

It’s meant to be perfect weather so enjoy!
