[on the bedside table] The Snows of Kilimanjaro And Other Stories

This book is meant to be a collection of short stories, which in some way it is, but because most of them follow on from each other I felt like it should have just been written into a novel.

Nonetheless, I liked The Snows of Kilimanjaro because it’s based in Africa and the characters are game hunters (please don’t judge me). All the other stories, feel a bit flat for me but tells a good tale on the friendship of two mates as they live their lives. Reading this, it seems like bromance hasn’t changed since the stories were first published (1939!)!

This book may or may not take your fancy but it didn’t take mine unfortunately (compared to the other ones I read over the break).

(Try to) Enjoy! xx
